​John established Schanewolf Cycle Sports in 1994 and led a BMX biking team for more than 15 years, as well as a Bicycle Shop for 22 years.

During that time, he sponsored hundreds of kids and helped foster a love of the sport in them.

John is the inspiration for Boost Bike Shop and is where Pietro first began as a bicycle mechanic. Although he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on.
